Claire grew up in London and moved to Coleraine, Northern Ireland in 1988 to study Social Psychology and Sociology at Ulster University, for which she gained a First Class BSc (Hons) Degree in 1992. In 1993 she moved to Edinburgh and developed her interest in Complementary health and healing. She started her training in 1996 and after many years of extensive training has been teaching since 2002. She lives in Musselburgh, East Lothian. |

Claire is a qualified teacher of the Rolando Toro System of Biodanza(worldwide)since 2002 and is a member of the International Biocentric Foundation based in Chile, whose President is Rolando Toro Araneda, the creator of the Biodanza System. She has trained with Rolando Toro Araneda (Chile)for many of the stages to become a teacher and also for specialised teaching of the Minotaur Project, the Tree of Desires, Clinical Biodanza, The Presentiment of Angels and Biodanza and the I Ching. |

She has also trained with Rolando Toro Acuna (Brasil-Chile), Eliane Matuk (Dir. Model School of Biodanza, Italy), Marcelo Mur (Italy-Argentina) & Sergio Cruz (Italy-Brasil) as part of her development as a teacher. She has completed specialised training to work with Children with Cecilia Luzzi and ran a project for children and families at First Step Children's Project in Musselburgh as part of a Millennium Awards Project she organised and ran in 2002/2003. Her work includes running groups for people learning difficulties/additional support needs (through the Garvald Centre in Edinburgh), running training sessions for carers and project leaders, and she recently worked with the Edinburgh group of the Association of Art Therapists in the UK. |
